The local auto parts store near me had a bargain barrel full of cheap radiator type hoses that were all different sizes.

She ran today for me, idled and tuned good. Made two cuts and sheared off the flywheel key....doh.

Was cutting pretty sporty till then...
I'll order a gross of them tonight from HL, should be here before we leave in a week and a couple.
I'd put some valve lapping compound on that flywheel and turn it on the crank. I bet it's not seating well. The key shouldn't be holding it in place.

I ordered a dozen keys last night on flea bay, will be the only real Stihl part, as HL Supply was out of stock. I will look around later for one from a taken apart saw to try and get going.

I've got some here if you don't find anything in time for the GTG

I ALWAYS take a Q Tip with Brake Cleaner on it to both the inside of the flywheel and crank (before I insert the key) to ensure the surfaces are clean. Just don't get the stuff on your seal.

Friction holds the flywheel in place, and friction only works if both surfaces are really clean. Then I tighten that nut to just short of stripping it (only goofed on that once). Good Luck with it. (I have not had to lap any of my Asian saws, and I've done a bunch of them).
