So I have me a Dolmar 7910 and I'm looking for a 28" light weight bar for it. What can you recommend for professional use? I work ole Dolly every day.

7910 has the same mount pattern as a 9010 correct?

Pretty easy to use a stihl bar and drill new oil holes. Have not been able to find any here in oz that factory fit dolmar

Seems the 7910's use a smaller mount pattern then (only ever see 9010's in my neck of the woods), so please ignore me :)

9010 is big husky or at least the ones I've had were. The 133 is large stihl

I opened the oiler holes up since it wasn't oiling as much as I wanted. My 24" Total Super solid bar oiled better pre oiler hole modification. After the holes they were the same.

Total light and tough are supposedly a hair lighter than a Sugihara. Doubt I could feel the difference. I have both in 20" and they seem pretty equal to me.

I agree with ^^^.... the RW stihl's are actually light not just called light. Another option is the Oregon RW 28" which you may be able to get in the mount you want.

Stihl light is what I ended up going with as I got a good deal on a 32" bar/chain combo. You need the adapter and for my 394xp with the outboard clutch had to lengthen the bar stud slot. Never tried it on the dolmar before the slot was lengthened so I don't know there. IMG_4343.JPG

I like Sugi's. I think they are harder than the Totals but I got no proof.

or the one you can find. I have never seen either of the lightweight Stihl or Oregon bars in person. Not a commonly stocked item around here.
I can get the stihl light bars at the dealer but he has to order them. No stock is kept of them.
