It's about time we saw some real pictures of that truck. Good lord I miss the old square bodies. Scottsdale's, Camper Specials, Fleetsides, K and C series. Badass truck, all the way down to the center caps and beauty rings!! Interior shots?Chevy, Ford, Dodge, pretty or ugly it doesn't matter...post 'em up!
85' K10, 350, 700R4, 4:11 gears, 33x12.50 15s. (New BFGs mounted last night) Plan on a 2" or 3" lift very soon.

So you had the one that didn't scatter.my previous truck. 1973 f250 360 4 speed.
It served me well. 400.00 up front, 125.00 in tune up, 380 in new tires! Never got stuck with chains on.So you had the one that didn't scatter.

I don't have what I would call "good" pics of my truck, but here is what I have...
'78 K10 with 350, sm465 4spd, np205 t-case. Has mild cam, Edelbrock 1406 carb, Edelbrock intake, full length headers, true dual exhaust with cherry bombs that dumps on a 45 deg down angle just behind the rear axle. Lifted 4" and rolling on 35" BFG Mud Terrains. Truck is the same year as me! It's a work in progress though... little bit at a time.

I was gonna write to forget the lift after I read your first post. I think its perfect the way it sits especially if you plan on working it. If you plan on wheeling it longer springs (with no lift) would help. Course you may run into driveshaft issues. Thanks very much, im glad you like it. I miss the hell out of the squares too. The interior is still a work in progress, I feel so ashamed...lol! BTW a 4" all spring lift is on the way to my place. Hope it's here by next weekend

I hear you. I have a 74' k5 that's so far down the list I almost forget I own it sometimes. I have a 472 caddy and Dana 70s sitting waiting to go in it.I can appreciate your position but no work or wheelin for my old truck lol. It's my summer cruiser and occasionally hauls the boat, I baby the hell out of it. A sin to some I'm sure.
I ordered a transfer case drop and the springs have angled seats to keep the driveline at a near stock angle.

Thanks man! Yeah the 77 is one heck of a fun truck. Currently has a 496 BBC in it. Am currently building a 572 for it. lol Yeah, I debated on tearing down the 66. Then just decided to do it. haha Slow process, but will be worth all the time and effort when done.Nice fleet! Your C20 is frigin badass! I wish I could tear down my truck the way you did with your 66. Great job. That is the sexiest straight six I've ever seen.
