Well I know it from an insider, there is a few 462's traveling with their "handler" all around the US being used and abused. There is no such thing happening with the 500i.

Why do I think they wont come together? The 462 is 13.22 lbs PHO and the 500i is 13.67. The 462 will cover everything up to when you need a 661. I could be wrong g though. The 462 is for sure putting the 461 I the ground. Its unclear about the 441. They shut down production of the 441 to correct issues and started it back up again. So that makes me think the 441 will be staying, or maybe updated to a 442?

Anyway, this is some facts I got from a couple "insiders" i know, mixed with my share of theories in an attempt to make some cool rumors lol

We have the 462 for sale here in Ontario. Website shows it for $1400 plus tax. What are they going to price the 500i

Since the 500i concrete saw is already here in the States, I can not imagine the corresponding chainsaw will not follow.

Since the 462 will replace both the 441 and 461, the 500i does not need to replace anything, just a nice step from 462 to 661.

Getting the 500i into the hands of as many users as we have here in the usa not only will make them alot of money but also give them a lot of user feedback to further their development of the fuel injection

i heard that Europe its being released followed by the States. it was meant to be here in Australia in the next month or 2 but has been pushed out to most likely early next year now;
mainly because to make sure to supply the 2 big markets properly.
