Any spikes from 1122 series and the 440 roller catch is what I run on the 462 and MS500.

1122-664-0501 Outer
1122-664-0506 Inner

MS500i with 0501 and 0506 spikes.

If you order this part number for the 462R clutch cover, it comes with the 1501 spike pre-installed. Well, at least it did for me here in the EU.

#'s 6, 9 and 18.

I like the #7 set of spikes personally (the old 064/066 east coast dogs). Or the new style #8 660 east coast dogs (slightly larger). The west coast dogs have a more aggressive hook on the bottom spike, some may want that and some not.

Thanks for the replies. The dealer I bought it from didn’t have a clue (as usual!). I had a pair of the west coast style laying around from another saw. I may see if he can get the east coast style. I have hooked my leg more than once with the west coast style. I guess I never knew the difference and the dealer always just ordered the “kit”.
