Anyone use it for saws? I sold my sled a year ago and have a gallon of the stuff. It says injection or premix oil. Yes I know it's for liquid cooled motors. Stay away or run it? Considering using it for general cutting and milling.

Well it says that it's FD rated so I'd use it without hesitation. Although I was under the impression that two cycle oil couldn't be both Jaso rated and TCW rated.

For reference... these two might be a better choice for chainsaws. Look at the air cooled Kart mix recommendations and they say 25:1 or richer (depending which). Maybe if I use TC-W3 I should mix it rich also... as in, not 42:1 but like 30:1.

It’s the same rating as original techni plate. I’d run it without hesitation. Super is castor and R50 won’t burn unless milling. It will run out the muffler. It will protect great but robs some power

I ran R-50. Smells soo good! Reminds me of my youth watching moto races. It gums up everything but the mill saw, like Mike mentioned. Keep a real close eye on it.
Jonsered 2150 (red Husky 350), 40/1 with a good tune.

Right!
I'll just stick with this:

Maybe I'll stick with mostly chainsaw oil to make my 42:1 then add a little Klotz on top. Custom blend. I dont think I'll use it as the primary lubricant.

What chance? I only run 40-42:1 in my saws. Milling or not. I dont see any harm in adding up to 1 oz more per gal of Klotz on top of that...

I run snowmobile techniplate in all my work saws...Haven't had a problem....Plus the thinner viscosity in colder temps help me start them easier....I don't tear my saws down every tank of gas worried about a little carbon buildup...It's a two stroke....
What ratio you running?
