CA62DACA-DAAF-4E7E-AAE7-6E1B347A2925.png Seems as though this was a real working man’s model and not very many survived in good condition. This most recent eBay special looked as clean as I’ve seen. Personally bid to $425 but not even close.. Hope someone got it that will clean it up and enjoy it!

I’ve seen a nice condition 801 before but I’ve never been a fan of the smaller displacement/detuned versions of saws.

$620 is nuts. And what does "needs work" mean?

Both rare saws, but the 90 would be the more usable of the two, even just for playing around. 111S is a load to run. Parts are very scarce for either saw. If ya just gotta have one to add to the collection, I guess it's one thing to pay a little. But no way that thing is worth $620. Patience always pays off; better deals are out there.

It’s getting pretty rich for an old saw that’s for sure!

I’ll keep my eyes open for a 90. Used to stop at every small town Jonsered dealer to see what they had collecting dust but sadly those are as rare as a 90 these days..
