So I got myself a 2071, needed the cylinder cleaned up and a new piston.
So I ordered myself a new meteor piston, cleaned the cylinder up, and went to fit it all back together the other day, until i realised the piston wouldn't fit into the cylinder!

Are there any other piston sizes for 2071's? The meteor I ordered was 50mm, because thats what the IPL's I had said it would be?

My knowledge about these kind of red saws is super minimal compared to Stihl stuff so any help would be appreciated

Yep sounds like someone has put a 2065 jug on it, or any of the Husqvarna/Jonsered 48mm's.

Have no fear they are still good, but not the same as the 372/2071 et al. I however love my 2065 as it is a nice little torque piggy with a simple muffler mod.

Can't tell a difference with short bars. Longer bars you can see a difference normally
