Not K&N Oil intended for the K&N gauze type filters.
It has to be that tacky foam filter oil to work.

BElRAY 1 oil is what madsens recommends it’s about 15 dollars

I just checked, K&N doesn't list a foam filter specific oil. Only a gauze filter oil.
Just trying to help here guys. But bust my balls all you want. Knock yourselves out.
And fix your pull cord. Saw will start easier if you do.

You telling Al, " Yikes, no good " isn't helping him. He knows what oil he is supposed to use. He did it so he could test the saw and make sure it was in order in what little free time he has.

I appreciate your insight Jeff, I never knew k an n shouldn’t be used on foam filters. I figured it shouldn’t, but now I know for sure. Thanks for teaching me something new.
