I've been Riff-Raffed

Been a bit since this happened, and thought I'd share with you all.
Came home after work one day and a couple of saws were on the porch in boxes. One I knew about to work on and the other in a Husqvarna saw box. Thought it odd that a saw came out of the blue, and even more odd that it came from Ashokan saw shop and a brand new saw was inside. Hmm I guessed that someone would let me know. After a while I get invited to a PM that I have been Riff-Raffed and the saw was for me! I was taken aback by the surprise of all this, yet happy as a pig in mud to have the saw I've been wanting for years now was here right in front of me. I literally had to go outside and get some air and collect myself.

Saw came with a new Tsumura bar and Oregon chain in .325", which I promptly put on.

Weather was turning and I just happened to have a few trees to cut.
It's a great limber.


A wonderful topper.



And even a good trunk lopper.

I take it with me every time I cut.

I can't thank all the Riff-Raffers enough that made this possible for me. It really is a wonderful saw that I will not only treasure, but use for years to come.

That's pretty good riffraff work. When I first ran my 5 series saws they ran so nice out of the box i kinda was in no rush to mod or port them.

Open up the muffler a bit and help it stay cool, really about all they need. I’m extremely happy with my G.
