Correction ... 362 ver I and 562 are same weight, 362 Ver II is a good deal lighter.

Mason, your 562 looks strong with the muff mod, but stock it did not run with my ported 362.

FYI, the 462 is about the same weight as the 562, I should just bring one of them!!! Both are just over 13 lbs, the 462 is 13.2.

I think the 462 will be a good saw I just don't think we will be still using it in 20-30 years. For that matter none of the auto tune saws IMO

I never have any problem with mtronic, but I would love to have non m-tronic 462. On stihl saws you still have the option via some detours (east european saw mostly without m tronic
for example).

I believe they recently had both versions of the 261 and 362 avail here. I was surprised they did that (after they went to Ver II for each of them).

Just checked the Stihl USA web site and it shows both M Tronic and non M Tronic versions of the 261 and 362. Those seem to be the only 2 pro saws that allow you to make that choice.

From what I can tell, I totally agree. At least when it comes to the Husqvarna AT saws, the Stihl's may stick around awhile.
