Neat. Is that along the lines of the jred 670 champ?
No idea....iv never seen this on a Husq before ... plenty of the gold 300 stickers but not this on a pull insert and a insert on the air cover. Looks to be commemorative ..but of what event or situation i dont know.

Looks to be a standard 372 xp from what i can see so far...customer saw by the way so it has to go back :D

Scored a 2005 husky 338xpt (California special) this week. I was unaware of this version until I graciously took it from the previous owner! It is a 45cc clone of the 39cc 338xpt. I'm assuming it was a baileys special with the 12 and 16in bars and 4 chains. I know a lot of guys dont dig the husky top handles, but I own and occasionally climb with a modded 338xpt 39cc and love it. I actually threw my modded muffler on the California today, pulled the carb limiters, and cut some 8in season oak. Running a cute little 12in bar the saw cut awesome! Sounds way more better too! I think I'll be selling my 39cc and keep the California. Any thoughts? The majority of my husky collection is pretty minty fresh, but this saw was truly pampered it's entire life!

I see some good news for 254 lovers. Meteor is making not just a piston but a cylinder kit now as well. This should make that saw a viable option for a rebuild. While not for chainsaws, Meteor is an OEM supplier for motor bikes in Europe, they're garden line is top notch as an AM replacement.

More good news here Steve..
