Good evening lads.

There are rummors saying Husqvarna plan to set down the prices for most of their service tools, that is crank mounting kits and splitter prices at least, but there are more tools I've heard also.
I've seen # 502503023 (550/560) crank mounting tool in US for under 10$ a kit.
Your guys should try to figure it out by one of OPE's dealers, maybe @Onan18 or @Spike60 can check it out.

In Germany I see low prices on a few kits, # 502503018 (346) for 13.86€.

This may be for just a few countries or it may be global decission.

For a few years ago they did it with top end kits in US, maybe its a tool year this time.

Found the splitter for under $40 as well Tor, the other assembly tools were at the old prices still.

Husqvarna doesnt produce much parts for the old 2×× serie, I think you can use the 550 kit, another option is to purchase the 357 kit, both kits has the same threads as the 254 has.

Sadly I have most of those kits, but to those who has not any or limited crank mounting kits, its probleby a good time to get some kits to your favourite Huskies, for 17$ you hardly get the iron and a left hand tap :D

There is a few kits Husqvarna has changed over the years and the correct information doesnt show up in their tool catalog, 266 kit #502 50 30 04, there has been 3 different crank to that model, the kit is made to the last version, ie PTO M10×1 Left hand thread, Flywheel side M8×1
