Does it have a carb with an accelerator pump? Dry up diaphragm? Big air leak some where?

Dirty carburetor and possible clogged jets. Being 27Hp on Husqvarna it is probably a Briggs engine with a twin barrel Nikki carburetor. I have seen jets clogged with clear enamel. And it can't be seen by the naked eye or at least I can't see it without a magnifying glass.

But we need a more detail description of your problem as on twin it can even be lost of fire one one cylinder.

Dub11, I figured you had the sow by the wrong ear. Easily done if you don't look up the equipment or are familiar the Husqvarna model numbers. One thing I have found about posting on these forums is to have the equipment info and actually look-up the equipment does help.

Yes it is a mower. Actually it is 52" cut with a 27hp Briggs 44Q777-1406-B1 and a G7 Hydro Gear transaxle (hydrostatic) if the IPLs are correct. The mower model number is actually GTH27V52LS. If it the Briggs as indicated in the IPLs then main jet is held in by a tiny o-ring that shrinks, gets loose, and causes mixture problems because fuel leak pass the o-ring causing over rich mixtures.
