Anybody ever try any mods on one of these to wake it up a bit?
I have one I'm about to clean up and get running and was just curious.

Id be hesitant to turn those up much. Idk if they had same bottom end issues the 575 did at first, but thats a heavy piston in there and more power would shorten the lifespan.

Looking at it, doesn't look like you can do much anyway. Mufflers are a sealed part too.
Oh well, I'll get it running and cleaned up and send it on its merry way.

I tried, and failed to split the muffin on my 575 when i had it. Found one on ebay and just cut a hole in the side and added a deflector. That and removing limiters on carb helped.
