Totally agree with you. I’m taking about the hardware store, external hex bolts with the number”8” on them 1A168DD1-18D0-41AF-9CA5-227346FB1BC9.jpeg

This is what was on the saw when I got it, they are the correct length and thread pitch, and they have the serrated lock washers under them so they actually stay in place. Plus I am out of the correct bolts at the moment. :BangHead:

Yeah I did not think you would have put them on. Just funny since everyone complains about Husqvaranas having mismatched hardware.

The Stihl fan boys complain about Husqvarna having 4mm/5mm bolts instead of all one size, mismatched hardware, or missing hardware because it rattled loose.

But all the “stripped thread repair” posts are on Stihls it seems. Go figure.

Time to disconnect the throttle cable.

20180103_143933.jpg
Mash the trigger.

20180103_143950.jpg
Hold the throttle shaft open.

20180103_144011.jpg
Release the trigger and the cable will.come out of the catch.

Pull it out of the way.

Pull the plug for the wiring harness out of its retainer on the carb.

20180103_144109.jpg
And unhook it.

20180103_144121.jpg
With everything out of the way the carb will come out.

Top barrel is for the fuel charge, bottom two are for the Stratos.

At this point the tank comes off.

20180103_144345.jpg
Unplug the coil wire.

20180103_144528.jpg
The coil and wiring harness lift out but are not free of the chassis just yet.

20180103_144715.jpg
Remove the cylinder, four bolts.

20180103_144727.jpg And lift the jug off.
