They are great, my brother has eight and they are tougher than toenail soup. He runs a country park service operations out in Oregon. So far after four years his crew can’t tear them up.
I like mine. It’s done a lot of trimming under barbwire fencing on our farm over the last 2 years. Seems to have less vibration on my hands then my old Stihl fs80 which has also been a great trimmer. If you get a 525 I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
i handled one today a 525l not an ls but got to see how it felt. I didnt notice much weight difference from my stihl fs100rx. The trigger handle did feel weird with it not being a solid mount nice but not sure about it yet....

I have a old Echo over 33 years of service but single line and expencive head to replace. I would have bought a new Echo but the Echo dealer sold the place and is all JD stuff today and I don't buy at HD.
I bought the husky 525l and use the crap out of it and no problems, I bought a new spool so I can have a spare to change to rather than stop on the job to rewind line on it.
Works well in my ditch mowing bussness with the Husky AWD mowed with B/S engine.
