husqvarna 455 xtork

Just took in my first 455 xtork for repairs. Bar plate was chewed up and oiler gear packed with crud. Any other common problems with these.

still not oiling . should the rubber part that drives the oiler be tight on shaft. it slides off shaft easy.

That's common on any saw that's not taken care of.

yes it is apart. pump gear moves. wonder if that chewed up bar plate is bearing down on it.

no camera think i will put clutch on and test run without bar plate. no chain

Did you flush the oil tank out, removing any possible debris that might be choking out the pick up body?

got oil now. put atf fluid in oil tank. bad bar plate was touching rubber pump driver. rubber was scrubbed up on top. now to order bar plate and figure out what to do about him running 3/8 chain on .325 bar and spur gear.
