Pluses?
Pitfalls?

Tips please.
Saw runs great so would gasket delete be even worth it?

I have a new piston but I had saved the old one in it when the guy gave it too me when seal scored piston, cleaned transfer and unstuck ring , cleaned it up and put saw on 32 to 1.

I've used saw several weeks freaking runs perfectly now

Whether the saw benefits by it is simply a matter of how much squish clearance there is, .020" +- is a typical number to shoot for.
Typically can get away with less on smaller saws.
Less clearance = more compression = increased torque (and more heat)...

Where's the squish at now?
If it's .050" then yes, .025" you probably wouldn't notice much difference.

Pitfall is that if you remove the gasket and don't measure clearance, you can end up with the piston contacting the squish band.
