What does the tank vent look like?
Beside carb on pull rope side I thinkI’ll take a look tonight & let you know. Pardon my ignorance but where should I be looking at to take pictures to help you out? Inside the tank or elsewhere? Sorry.
Thanks , strange arrangement,
Nothing on end of tubing? Just open?Wish I could get better pics for you . It looks like that black tube comes out of the tank & goes over the front of the carburetor & ends there.
Started and ran saw few minutes ago, running out of fuel on the top end , makes me wonder if that is what caused the damage, ran it about 5 minutes no cuts ,Just a few things...
122 psi is on the low side so a piston and ring swap is a good thing.
Have you found the reason for the damage in the first place ?.... pressure and vac tested the saw ?
Found why saw kept running lean on top end , don't know how it ran at allJust a few things...

I found 2 on inner web,There should be a check valve on the tank end of that tank vent hose. It may be between the tank and the saw case. If you can pass air into the tank from that hose and not be able to draw any out it's OK .
Some Husky seals have the number on them It will be a metric seal which should be easy to find. If the number is there it will read as the size in mm. something like 15 22 5
