I need a coil for a 285CD. Here's a pic of what I have. Other question is could this saw be switched over to the more modern sem coil? Also interested in a clutch cover (that will accommodate a brake). Customer wants to have a chain brake on the saw. His clutch cover is in great shape. But It's just a plain ole cover. I'm pretty sure I've got everything except the brake band. If that helps?

Thanks Rich IMG_2871.JPG

Are they 380 or 2100 cases? Need to know what stroke the cranks are?

To convert over to SEM you would need a SEM coil and a sem flywheel. I do have some of the Bosch could like you have pictured. I will mount them up in the morning and test for spark. To see if any work.

I have one set of 2100 cases but one half where the bearing presses in is damaged. all other cases are either 380 or 480 cases.
