IMG_20190606_230453440.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg IMG_20190606_230522093.jpg Just picked up a husky 359. Saw runs but I'm sure weill need a a carb kit. The clutch cover has a little bit of damage nothing that interferes with the running or functionality of the saw otherwise the saw is in pretty nice condition. Asking $350 obo PayPal friends and family or if you use paying for goods and services a extra 3% or the total price must be added to the total.

D@mn I can't even see it. I totally agree I'll have some more pictures up tomorrow. I apologise I was just trying to get it posted before I headed out.
I am about to pick up a nice running 181SE which from what I hear is like a 288xp is that true?

No, Carburetor throttle linkage is a rod style and fuel tank lever also different to accommodate the rod. 288's are a roller style set up. Fuel tank parts can be converted. Carburetor will need to be off a later 281/288 series. These are just two differences this little pea brain knows of. I'm sure there maybe more. See what comes at you next . Also sure would like to see that 359. How about those pics??

Yes that's what I was thinking but at the moment I have 3 257's and a 261 that I'm powder coating, and rebuilding from the bottom up and need some funds to cover a few things I'm still in need of.
Just picked up a pretty decent 181se but need a metal brake flag. I'm hoping some of it's proceeds will finish up buying my finishing parts

Has this saw been pressure and vac checked to determine the cause of that scoring Brandon? It might just be the pic but that looks pretty severe.

No it hasn't I only have a compression tester and the guage finnaly went out. From what I saw it was only the Piston was damaged the cylinder looked decent. If you think it would help I'll take some pictures in the morning without the cylinder in.
