A family friend is using my Echo SRM-225, and I'm probably just going to let him keep it for what little I have in it. Thus, an excuse to buy a new weed eater! Went to Lowe's today to get some household things and stopped by the OPE to see if anything was on clearance yet.

Saw that they have the 322L and thought it looked nice, comparable to the Echo SRM-230. The description says it has a Zenoah engine, a big plus I think. Lowe's has it for $250.00 normal price, found some online for under $200.00 delivered. Anybody have experience with this one? It seems to have really good reviews.

I have had a few husky trimmers over the years. You will regret not buying an Echo 2620. I absolutely love mine! The power they have is amazing and the build quality is better than a husky to in my opinion. Echo also offers a 2620T that has a lower gear ratio in the gear box for more touque if you really need to kick some grASS!

Actually, I've already seen through this mirage. The Husky may be good or it may not be, the Zenoah engine is what caught my interest. Found the Echo SRM-266 new from an overstock place for $239.00 to my door. So, that's what I am getting soon as my car is fixed and I get paid again.

Don't worry, I've come back to my senses! I like looking at pretty girls too, but always come home to my wife. To be fair, my BIL has an early 2000's Husky and it does great.

My local husky dealer also sells Stihl. And he says it the strangest thing watching people buy a Husky saw and a Stihl trimmer at the same time lol.

Both the husky units i have had issues with were later productions. One has a bad carb and the other had a bad starter.

I like pretty girls too.

It's ok to like what you like. I think the basic curve shaft Stihl weedeaters are awfully nice for what little they cost.

I'll use what ever works. I'm not being paid by anyone's advertising department last I checked.
