Thank you,

I noticed that the 10x22 wasn't much more. Although it looks like everyone is out of the 9 and 10" lathes?

The bigger the lathe the less messing around to get larger cylinders to swing. Its much easier to bump a mandrel in when it’s only an 1” from the chuck.
I have a 13x40 and I don’t have any problems spinning a cylinder over the carriage. I don’t know if that is true for a 10”.

Mine is a 9x19 and I have to be mindful of offset fins above the carriage. Usually just have to change to the other side of the tool post

On dans 9” we were spinning a 372 jug no problem. But I could see even a 385 or 395 would close up that space. I have a 7x14 that going on Craig’s list for that exact reason. Can’t swing over the cross slide. The other appeal to dans size. Is it would fit better in my basement shop.

Next I believe is a good running but ugly husky 42 special. Also a bunch of parts for that series.
A project 238 in there as well
I need to dig the jonsered 2051 out. I may also build a 2055 to sell
I have a nice looking jonsered 670 that’s gotta go but I need to assess it first.

A couple running homelite 410’s.

Project 162.

Maybe a ms200 and or a 200 project saw.

I have a 201 that can go.

Got a glut of 50 51 55 saws and parts.
Also partner 5000 projects

I have 4 p100s in various stages of completion. All have good slugs and jugs

A 288 is one of the worst I've done. It has some fins offset to one side

3120 and 084 jugs are the largest I've done. I think an 090 would probably have the largest fin radius.

Shawn thanks for the caution. I have this hobby in mind now but it is possible that I will have a need for some other hobby in the future.

Folks, after careful deliberation I have decided not to purchase this saw after all. This of course in the name of furthering our lathe discussion. If at some point in the future our lathe discussion dies down, I will revisit the prospects of re-purchasing said saw.

Thank you David for your cooperation and understanding.
