Not seeing the new prices reflected in my usual "OEM parts ballpark price lookup" sites online Bob. Can you give a ballpark on a 288 kit?

Did crank mounting tools & case splitters drop in price?

Some did yes. Same tool with a different part number and a bargain price. Thought they might be coming from "somewhere else", but I just got in a 372 assembly tool for a guy and it is still made in Sweden. But there are 2 part numbers for it. One still at the old price.

I only heard the rummors about new price for many service tools in US (well, I've seen screenshots), but I did not knew they got a new part number.
Them part prices your guys has is something we can only dream about, we are going the other way.

I'm more surprised he came down $25 to sell at $150!!
Don't worry about that bruised feeling, it'll turn dark blue, then black, dry out and fall off. Then you'll have none to worry about.

Even if I run out, it's only a day or 2 to get them from Husky. On older saws like the 272 and 288 I like to have 2-3 in stock. Larger numbers on some of the more popular and current stuff. In addition to shipping them to members, we're the only shop around that will rebuild older models so we need to have them around anyway. Lot of shops won't even rebuild newer saws, but that's a whole nother topic.

Key here is that these prices make rebuilding most saws with OEM kits affordable The AM stuff is more than OK for a guy who has several saws to cut his own firewood. But I'll only use OEM for the pro guys.

At the highest if memory serves i paid over 200 close to 300.00
Several year's ago for a 372 oem kit
For a *b-wording about price customer
Back then.
I bought 2 oem 372 kits myself recently.
Meteor was 10.00 less than oem.
And mako and hyway were around the 100.00 range.
