I'm after some ideas as to where to look next with these saw as I'm not too familiar with them. It will fire once but that's it won't run consistently. On the very odd occassio 1 in 30 it will run for a few seconds and stop. I have reset back to factory, and updated firmware bu made no difference, changed carb and coil and reprogrammed. Had exhaust off to check barrel and piston and they seem ok. When plugged in to CST everything came back as ok even though it wouldn start. Computer test system is crap.

Any ideas as to where to go next?

check the impulse hose i have seen this a few times it will break or have a crack in it.

Just before I broke up for Christmas I did order all fuel pipes and impulse pipe. And also stripped saw right down and removed piston ring and noticed it was rather sharp on edges so ordered a new ring too.
