Hi
This saw came from the rubbish dump and in really good condition under the covers co I plan to fix it up.

I am looking for a rear handle insert to match the one on the saw.

See pictures below

Please let me know if you have one.
Happy to pay and cover postage.

The 50's are cool saws to resurrect. Definately want to change out that impulse setup, worst design I've seen to date. Its not a speedster but is built like a tank. I'll look around, got a spare handle somewhere.

What do you mean by "change it out"?
is there something better I can get for it?

Just make sure the impulse is tight. Its notorious for coming loose. That was the problem with mine. You'll see what I'm talking about. Maybe get a new impulse hose for it, or make one yourself. I just looked, don't have one. Sorry.

Not at first glance. I'm sorry. I'll keep looking through my 50/55 corner

Yeah I will.
I didn't know you could
Sorry if my message appeared abrupt. That wasn't my intent. I was just trying to help. I haven't any idea what they're worth. Maybe somebody else can use them. Would like to see some pictures of her all cleaned up.

Thanks, Howard

Would you believe I fired it up for the first time and was doing some rough tuning of the carb when the throttle spring broke

The local fella I got the inserts from thinks he has one for me.

I am going to have some fun with this saw and see if I can get it to put a scare on my ported 026
