Husky 372xp ok?

Biggest saw I have is a Stihl ms362. Looking at a "new" 372xp (x-torq version) 24" bar/chain as I guess it would be nice to have a larger saw for the occasional larger tree. I keep considering owning a larger saw. This guy's 372xp is really not new upon my query, he's had it 6 months, used it 3 times, he says. That adds up by the pics, it does appear used very little, looks pretty new for sure. Asking $550 but it's negotiable. About how much would you pay? He'd have to ship it to me and I'd have to run it IN WOOD before I'd pay because one time I got burned because a saw ran just fine piss revving but put it in wood and it would die, lol. TIA!

Ah, but I've had that very arrangement before with a buyer. Not much of a chance I would send this seller $550 with nothing in hand. Saw is from an ad, not a forum. If he doesn't want to do it my way, that's fine, no problem, I won't buy it. I have a perfect buying record with references that he can check out. I've also done deals like this where he sends the saw to a third party. It can be done.

I wouldn’t pay 550 for a used xtorq. If it was a mint OE maybe. 450 is more fair and less if it’s been used a lot.

I sold mine for $400 but it wasn't like new, solid saw though...

A new X-torq is roughly $800, sometimes a touch higher or lower. If the saw is in near new condition as stated I think $550 a fair price. Y’all are just hatin on the XT...lol

I paid 500 for my XT. I think that is a fair price. Why dont you just pay the 3% premium on paypal? Nothing to worry about then.

Use PayPal and it keeps booth parties safe in the buying process, just don't do friends and family, the price seems reasonable to me, but I would try and get it for less.
