Husky 346xp OE rpms

What's a good max rpm for a 346xp, I know all saws are different, but what's a good baseline for a used stock one thanks.

Not sure on The 42mm ones but i think newer ones with limited coils were limited at 14,100. I think.

I usually run a stock anywhere from 13800 to 14100

I try to err on the heavy side typically so I'll try to hit 13.8 and see how it likes it.

Wasn't the OE supposed to be 14,700? The NE had the 14,100 limited coil.

Yup, OE is listed at 14700, NE at 14100.
My ported OE is at 14949.

No not limited. Recommended oem setting is 14.7k

OE black coils on all mine and tuned to around 14,500. Have one turning 15K+, but it's a special one.

I thought ALL 346 were special??

Did the blue coils come out with the NE? I only have experience with one OE and that one is a 2002 (I believe) at my work. It has a black coil.

Yes, there are! Blue coils started with the NE as far as I know.
