Husky 2100 chain

I'm looking for recommendations for a 3/8-0.063, chain with a 36" bar, for my Husky 2100.

It's just for GTG's.

Oregon LGX or Stihl cuts good out of the box. If your wanting something a little more sporty I am sure someone could grind you a square ground loop.

+1 on getting a square ground loop for it. LGX and RS are great choices.

Semi skip is the best chain in big hardwood on a long bar imo. It’s sold as square in oregon brand, but you can round file it. Oregon 75CK is what your looking for (.063 half skip square ground 3/8 115DL).

I’m not sure what stihl or other equivalents are called in semi skip, but I’m sure they would work good too.

Tim, once you pick out a chain let me know. I can grind it square if you’d like. I’m not to far from you. It would be cheap to mail it or I’m less then a 2 hour drive away.

I run semi skip on my 298 with 36" and like it. Full skip would be good also. Theres a lot of teeth to file in those chains if you go full comp... The square out of the box is just ok. I've seen some sad teeth from both Oregon and Stihl square out of the box. Still cut better than round out of the box but definitely wasnt ideal until I filed it once.
