Not sure yet to be honest guessing just earlier it has the arm adjustments that the C does so I’m not sure. As well as having the new style motor. I’ll need to make a base for it as well but that’s a cake walk

Kinda optional. Saw still runs even if no filter is on it. May even run better! lol

Took my 371 to the woods today with a square filed chain just to see how it'd do. Cuts like a mf'er bucking, but it didn't bore cut worth a shít.

We dropped some nice white oak and hickory but I went back to my other saw with round chain.

Anyone else have similar experience or is it something I'm doing?

Post a pic of your chain. Mine dont have that trouble.

Something your doing, my square bores better than my round

I like to clip the heels of the cutters on my falling chain. Seems to help on the bore cuts
After looking at it, I think I might need to clean up the gullet a little more. Hell maybe my angles are all wrong for boring...idk.

Close to a tank of fuel on this chain limbing and bucking.
