Great video Randy!!! How do those burrs wear grinding the Nikisil in the port openings......some of that is really hard.

They dull faster than a double cut for sure Rich. I use a diamond file on them and can sharpen them a few times though.

Is the chatter the result of the direction of rotation? So if your bit rotated and cut the opposite direction you'd start on the right side.

Usually the chatter comes from the burr making contact with too much material and both directions fight each other with sonic speed. When you hit that corner with a deeper bite from the other way it'll grab too much material and do that. If the burr is spinning the other direction it will chatter on the other side instead.
