I like fixing them, but I don't like to watch them go... Right now I have:
Husqvarna - 288XPL, 262XP, 44, 455 Rancher
Stihl - 009, 020AVP (2), 020AV (2), 024WB, 031AV, 038AV, 038Mag, 041FB, 041AV
Jonsered - 2095 Turbo
McCulloch - PM555, PM700, 380(old, not the plastic one), PM650 w/bow
Homelite - XL, SXLAO, 240 (2)
Craftsman - 3.6 (Roper)
And a few oddballs like Dayton and Wizard branded Poulans, and an old David Bradley branded as a Sears. I also have parts saws...

My shop is bursting at the seams. Most of them are non-runners. That said, there are at least 25 (good) runners there. Currently on the bench: bench #1 is an MS391 getting new crank bearings. Bench #2 is an 038 Super getting a wake up call from 10+ years of slumber in someone's barn. Bench #3 has a 359, 372, 272, MS460 all needing help, but I cannot actually reach that bench for all of the crap around it.

I'm in the 20+ category, as it seems the majority is. Five that I use often- 346, 372, 395, 288, and 670. Most of the rest are vintage mag and get used occasionally.

Perhaps 300 or so completes, probably half of them runners. It it a bit hard to rotate that many so I have maybe 25 or so that are routine firewood and GTG saws.

Mrs. Heiman is very understanding.

Does the fact that I've sold more saws than I currently own prove I do not have CAD? I'm saying it does. I haven't purchased a saw for months and I've sold one during that time period. (a few days ago). So I'm ok.

Sure be fun to have lot's of saws. The ones I have are enough already. The saws have to share the real estate in my garage with Nidra, tools, spare parts, wood stove, a large 100+ year old Rockford drill press, lawnmowers, snowmobiles, the list goes on.

I'd like to be able to use the saws as well, not having them sit as shelf queens.
