I really enjoy hearing you guys getting this snow and how it just turns everything to crap. We have enough for a white Christmas and some outdoor winter activities but not enough for all activities. I heard ole @Stump Shot has almost 3’ in his area. Now that’s some snow

I just wish I had about 20 cord of wood to sell. People are in a panicky at the grocery stores. I hope we get a foot of dry snow with a strong wind out of the west. Get some of these townies to move back to the city.

It amazes me how little groceries people actually keep at their homes nowadays. My grandma always kept a VERY well stocked pantry and I follow suit.

This morning had barely noticed bits of sneet scattered falling. Around freezing most of the day, now 30°that feels colder. Freezing rain that's thin

You've really got to switch to the modern 2 stroke oils, Matt. That 30 non detergent just ain't making it.
:)
Lol.. that’s 3% synthetic in 20% nitromethane.

Did I mention it was cold and damp out??

Those alky saws aren’t supposed to be able to run at cold temps.. yet it do...

Split wood in the rain/mist..
just cold and generally *s-wordty out..

New Kohler likes fuel, ran 2 tanks through it in 3 hours. Other than that, it’s perfect in every way.

Time to get a snort of chemical warm up..

I've never paid attention to fuel usage but that sounds like a lot. What size tank is it? I am assuming the same as mine.

Oh, and pics of the new engine on old scrap iron...

I wish it was snowing here... Watching my kids grin while getting pulled around on a car hood through a pasture is pretty damn neat, and there's far too' short of a window for these things...

Give it about 50 hours to completely break in and a few oil changes. The I'd be curious to see what the burn is. I'd bet that carb could be leaned out a tick to make it more miserly w/o frying valves.

You just took me back to my childhood. My Dad used to pull us on an old 50's Chevy pickup hood, with a Kawasaki 3 wheeler. Some of my fondest memories as a kid.
