My Wife's Uncle has (or had) a '96 reg cab F-350 SRW 4x4 with the 351 and a 5spd with a flatbed... I tried to talk Him out of it a few times. He may have sold it now that he quit farming and moved to the Ozarks, but I'm not sure. He's not too far from you Matt!

I'll take the 460 any day.
Granted, I love the 5.8 in the Van. It really does an awesome job. It was a big power step from the 5.0 in my F150. But the 460 is a 300k engine all day long hands down and cheap to work on compared to a diesel. I tend to not gripe about mpg. The Van gets 8mpg pulling the camper. 12 empty. The 460 is right along in that range too. + or - a hair.
:)

That's a nice one till you see the price!
The adjustable box wedge with the return arm looks pretty nice! Especially since much of my wood is essentially split to "bundle/Stove wood" proportions. I find that what I would call "overnight" splits, don't burn ear as well in my non-cat stove as they did in my parents' insert fireplace. Just not enough air to support the combustion of the larger pieces. But, a lot of smaller diameter (between 3"x3" - 5" - 5" works best. The Super Split does VERY well, but 2-6 piece per stroke at a 6 second cycle time is pretty alluring. Darn thing wouldn't be much less than I paid for my '05 F-350 though... This was the video that really impressed me:
Edit: More than a 6sec cycle on the nasty parts, but you get the idea.
