Hmm, checking Craigslist and Marketplace down here rough sawn oak is 1.00-2.00 a board foot.
For that price I can go ahead and use pressure treated lumber.
I was wanting to use it for new flooring in the trailer I just picked up.
Unless I'm figuring it wrong. Which would not be unusual.

If you go with pressure treated find a lumber supply that still carries CCA treated lumber, as opposed to the ACQ treated lumber. You won't find CCA at Lowe's or HD.

Oak is 65-75 cents here. It will make a better floor than the cheap treated junk will.

I doubt it. They will cut special orders though, if you're willing to wait for the right log.
I'm not sure what the bed length is on their mill. It is a computerized wood-mizer.

It can be last we got was from the local havco trailer flooring plant. The apitong comes from Asia I believe it's about as strong as oak but way lighter normal life in the weather is 7-15yrs. Most of the commercial heavy trailers from manac flat beds to trail king detach trailers have apitong from the factory.
