Your just upset that my 346 is gonna be faster than yours! ;)

Your 346 will be faster than most saws, I suspect.
I did get some compliments on my 034 Super today, with an 18” bar and .325 chain. It was screaming through the wet mess, and I was bucking up some 30” trunk logs without slowing down.

034 was one of stihl’s better saws..

But most parts today are, NLA at the dealer, unless they got some leftovers.

9/16" unless it's 5/8". Hard to read with a tape measure, it has a bit of compression and is in surprising shape for what moparnut88 claimed to have gotten it for.

I have four loops/lengths of 9/16” x .063” gauge I can’t use.

Bars I have are .078” gauge. [emoji37]

Everything is ready for when the spur drum gets here. Grease on the bearing and parts laid out. [emoji108]

Jury is still out on the oil pump.
If you have to work on the oil pump, watch out. They used a strange system on those saws. Tough though. I don't remember having to work on maybe one or two of them over the years. That used to be one of the most common saws around. Literally worked on hundreds of them back in the day.

Tough as nails they were. Literally more Poulans than any other brand back in the 70s & 80s, in the deep south any way.
