Morning everybody! Feels like fall here this morning. Been a little misty rain, the kind you don't mind working in. It felt so good, I went out and split about half the wood I got from sawnami. Time to get back to some paying work now.

Getting the SEZ sorted out.

Carb was all messed up. Metering lever set way, way high. Gasket & diaphragm in wrong order. It puked fuel when trying to pull start. Springs lost off the mix screws. [emoji849]

Piston & cylinder look pristine from the exhaust port. [emoji106]

No luck so far. Found some places I can cut a little bit, but not enough for that. Got one place I'm really hopeful on, but haven't heard back from them.

I think this may be what's wrong with my 7910. Darn thing floods out something fierce once you turn it off, and it's a bear to get restarted.

Have you checked the metering diaphragm? It can hold the needle open and let it flood.

High side not passing fuel now. [emoji849] Was puking gas out. Now runs at an idle but dies whenever you open the throttle, no matter where you spin the needle. [emoji37]

At least I don’t have to pull the flywheel.

That’s a near NOS 14” Homelite hardnose bar I had hanging on the pegboard like forever.

It came with a new Oregon 16” D176 that ain’t gonna work. At all unless you don’t want to oil the chain.
