Well got the 041 farm boss running for a customer. Every screw had vibrated out. Including the intake from the cylinder. For some reason ppl keep telling me that only huskys do that?! Lol! And got I got his 440 magnum running again. Recoil was removed and pieces missing. Plus it has been drug under a bundle of logs on a skidder but mangled still runs surprisingly.

I've seen jason sew leather by hand with a hand stitcher worked pretty good.

I know next to nothing about this but I'm trying to make this as a woodsman would make it in the hills and valleys of the 1700's. To me that would mean hand stitching. However, I won't rule out using rivets. Ill just change my time period.

I've done this many years ago with a hand punch and a carpet needle. Thimble or pliers to push needle through will help greatly. Sometimes dampening the leather a bit helps too. Have fun!

I was told they needed a 70cc to get full capacity out of them. But they will work with a smaller saw just less power.
