    Excellent idea. I've been using the cant to roll the log onto a limb to use as a lever so I can get it onto my sleigh.

    Looks really robust and well made. I like the heel you have at the hinge end of the hook that stops the hook from rotating back too fay and acting like a guillotine for a hand that may be left in the way.
