I picked up a shindaiwa 345 chainsaw. Someone took the air filter cover off and lost it along with the air filter and carburetor bolts. They also left the spark plug out and dirt daubers build a nest in the cylinder. I want to tear down the saw and clean everything and replace the rings and seals. Would there be any hope for finding parts for this thing? (Without exceeding the value of the saw)

Most of those parts are available on www.partstree.com. The AF and cover are not, however ..... best bet is to keep an eye on eBay, as they do come up from time to time.

Does anyone have any spare 360/377 parts that they might sell?

I have a 377 that needs a piston, air filter, and some chain brake parts (Flag, brake band, etc.)

Thanks in advance!

I have a nice little builder saw, but I am trying to resurrect it for very cheap

I think I still have a 360 that's a good runner, but needs a few parts to make it complete, I also have a 300s which is complete....

Does Stens have fuel and/or oil caps for 575 & 695?
Ereplacements and partstree were a bust.

I have a Shindaiwa dealer nearby... he doesn't really do anything with saws, but I thought about ordering a 600SX from him and having it shipped here... but I suspect it would cost a boat load since it'd be one saw in a box in a giant shipping container...

Next time I'm there, I will ask about ordering a saw. Maybe it's feasible, maybe not. I'm sure some would love a new Shindaiwa.

The oil cap is shared with the 575.
The fuel cap is shared with the 550, 575 and 680.

Hope this helps.

The Stihl 029 type fuel cap fits well.

Replace the Stihl washer with a suitable 'O' ring.

At least I'll have something in the hole while the original cap 'dries' and shrinks back down.

Make a three legged spanner wrench to catch the shoes.

Or, drill & tap two holes for 1/4"-20 (locate carefully!) in the clutch hub.
