HL75 Telescopic pole saw

hi there.
just got this in from a mate.
saw wont engage when the pole is extended.
works fine when not.
any ideas please?

Yes.

Slide the outer tube in from the other end so the snap ring is closest to the powerhead. It's (the snap ring) on the wrong side of the bearing.

bit more info...apparently its been dropped and the inner tube(closest to the cutting head) had a slight bend. they have held the cutting head in a vice and pulled it to try get it out thus separating the two tubes?? they have then bodged it back together in a hurry lol.

is there and manual for the tube side of the operation??

What you need is a copy of the mediaCat 2012.

Look up the mediaCat chain letter on AS.
