This Dolmar hedge trimmer in 50 cm to 75cm length is well worth looking over along with the Makita versions ...same, just blue here in Europe . Feels good and light (5.2kg) for a machine thats over 4ft long and has a solid aluminium bar as the cutter centre . That Makita Blue stays on there OPE and electric tools here ...You want Dolmar colours or the Makita blue , pay your money and take your choice.

Makita BHX 2501 MM4 (micro 4 stroke ) or the Dolmar PB2524 blower (same platform ).
I use a blower for a fair few hrs a week in the Autumn/spring outside plus a real handy tool around the shop doing mower servicing. No more mixing fuel with this one .

Whats that blower weigh?
The book has it down at 4.5kg without fuel and tubes ...i have it at 5.2kg (11.5lb) with a tank of fuel and the tubes on it.

That ain't to bad at all. And is it just me but that fuel tank looks big.
