I got 100 on Keith Gandy taking apart every 2 stroke he owns for rebuttal photos.

I’d say different saws do differently.

Gallon of 7000 ~ $30. Gallon of 9000 = ~$48. I've run 7000 or 9000 in all our 661 tests. That way always using the same oil and gas. But some of the stuff we've done has been well questionable. Yet saw has always been fine. Running the 661 at almost 15k. Running that race 461 at almost 17k. Running the 661 with 60" bar and 404 chain. Running cut after cut trying to heat the saw up. Then countless changes to cylinder port timing variations, port shapes, Timing, carb, and other unnamed *f-wordery.

Seen the inside of scott's 440 - which has over 1,000 gallons of gas (mix 32:1 schaeffers 7000). It's CLEAN.

Yes, that’s all I’ve used myself too, the 9000 is actually what’s recommended for air cooled but who’s to argue with 20 years of proven success

Straight from Schaeffers website on the 7000:

Not recommended for use in those 2-cycle engines that employ the use of rotary valves or power-valves or 2-cycle engines (*air cooled) that specify API TC, JASO FA, JASO FB, JASO FC, ISO-L-EGB, ISO -L-EGD, ISO-L-EGC and TISI quality 2-cycle oils.

Got a at of that stuff myself but that's the question that I want to know...Has he been using that stuff for 20 years with good results despite the warning?

My issue with the Schaeffer stuff is:
1) It’s TC-W3
2) they specifically tell you it’s not recommended for air cooled 2 strokes

Does all this mean much?? Nah, not really I guess. I have quite a bit of Klotz Super Techniplate Snowmobile left from when I had a sled. I mixed up a gallon with it last summer cause it’s all I had here and I’ll be honest, the saws (661, 660, 7900) ran the best I’d seen them run. And tuned easily on top of that.
