I have one too. Not the greatest piece of equipment, but it does work. Mine is sloppy in the threads for the spinner handle, so it wobbles a bit. In my opinion, as long as you take care and pay attention while using it, it’s just fine.
I bought it with a 20% off coupon. Can’t beat the price. Mine was also an older one that was sitting on the shelf for years. When I got to the register the fellow said “Wow! What is THAT?!“. Needless to say my HF doesn’t sell many. Lol

I had a hard time justifying the $100 for the combination set from Northern tool. Much less $100 each for the Oregon set. But it $54 I think I can justify that. I just need to do some minor shortening or repair work.

Well I got some presets for 3/8 chain from the dealer. Got my breaker set up.

First off, the Allen wrench supplied wasn’t the correct size for the set screws I had to install. The bushing that the spinner part spins in, is not parallel. So the chain wobbles when spinning.

But this is the most frustrating part.

What’s wrong with this picture..... the damn dealer gave me 3/8pm presets and tie straps. As in 3/8 picco micro.

Damn dealers. Hopefully they’ll give me a refund for selling me the wrong parts. This is the second dealer that sold me wrong parts. Looks like I have to do there job and look up the part numbers for them.

That's lame on the dealer part.

Is there any way to take the bushing out to "fix" it or is it stuck in there.

Sorry to drag up such an old thread I just bought one of these and needed to ask do I use the larger spinner anvils for 3/8 chain or the smaller ones? It's standard 3/8
