Used the Granberg Winch yesterday on a big cedar with the 60" mill and 62" bar.
It's fine.. The winch is squeaking already and feels weak .
I would not recomend buying one at the current price from Granberg.

Ana ran a Time lapse while I was rippin but It won't embed. Click the 1st pic for link to youtube.

32"W x120L" x 3.75 thick"

Assumption noted. Hooskie or Dolkita would be best for a direct throttle cable. I'm picking up what you laying down.
A remote throttle cable directly connected to the carb would work well however, not on my mill. My mill is bolted to my bar and the mill has to be unbolted to take the chains off. So occassionally its disconnected completely from my mill. Just might not be as convenient as you think if the cable is connecting the power head to the mill. Having something that snaps onto the saws rear handle and can operate the operator presence lever and throttle would be ideal. Norwood has such a thing but doesn't sell parts individually. They wouldn't even price parts without a serial number from the mill.

Beautiful lumber.
Sorry to hear about the winch. That was my fear, not being satisfied with their product considering its cost.
Plus I have a Panther Mill and it's all steel. Welding a cheap harbor freight winches was cheap and east to attach. It added a lot of weight though!

Where did you get that throttle bracket
