_20170813_220841.JPG Last year was the first stock I ever refinished. This Marlin was light to begin with and I liked it because it was different, so that's how it was redone. This one has that nice dancing color change when moving it in the sunlight. I've always had a thing for blondes. Who knew it would lead to guns, too?

I'll be doing a walnut stock soon and wanted to know about the walnut stain that comes with Tru-Oil. Is that used on walnut to make a richer color or is it only used on lighter stocks to darken them up?

Got a picture of the walnut stock ? Wouldn't want to go too dark over walnut. I don't honestly know.

Feel like I'd just want some good shine on it. You'll know more when you eye it up in person.
