The tail on the bar of the A041 is smaller. Look at the first one 1st row and the 2nd one in the 3rd row.

No i don't Jon, i just opened the link Mycamero posted. I would assume the difference is the A tail is smaller on the 095 bars also.

I know it’s an old thread but was going to change a tip on one of my 18” stihl es bars. Looking through my box of tips I have one that’s the right 3 rivet mount and right overall width but is an inch or a little more shorter than the one on the bar. Is this so they can use the same main blank and make 2 different bar lengths by changing the tip? But only about an in different not 2 so not a 16” and 18” by changing tip. Be more like 17”
