Could someone possibly start a chainsaw bar thread. This is one aspect of saws I still have problems with sometimes. Thanks

That is truthful information. SN is the mount code GB uses for 3003/D025 Stihl mid mount. Though I'm unsure whether the stud slot will have to be lengthened slightly to use the adapter?

Does this mean it would fit a Homelite naturally?
What does one look for to know it is for a specific saw?

Thanks. I don’t know if it’ll need lengthened either.

    I have a NIB solo brand 20” bar. It’s .404 but i don’t know what gauge. Is all .404 bar/chain in .063? Because I can’t find any .404 in .050.

That’s some great information bud Thanks. A lot of the info that gets my head hurting is all the crossover between bars fitting other models they aren’t made for or can be modified to fit others easily and all that. But I do like your information for sure

The man that makes a machined bar slot adaptor has a screen name on the forums of Homelite 410 That is how the word ended up in the thread.

2058 means it's 20" and .058 gauge. The HP is one of the codes Windsor used for this mount. The other being EM(Electrolux Motors). This is the same mount as the obsolete Oregon D005.
