He just said the crank they carry is a lot better quality than the one that came with the kit. I wanted better quality and maybe piece of mind.

Yeh, I was wondering who makes these (and other bits) other than farmtec,. (It was a bit of a joke saying Jason upgrade)
I've been looking at FT cylinders on hutzel site, and yet when I look on banggood they sell an 660 BB kit with other markings that FT do not have and I had one of these (same markings) on my 660 which ran good. But I trashed it and it got put in the trash.then I got a hyway kit which don't run like the other unknown am cylinder.
I really should take timing notes on every cylinder.

Also they don't seem to have ms260/026 cylinders on banggood but hutzel does. So as you prob already know there are a few comps that make stuff

It's one of the unknowns what you Will get from China. good or not so good, or just rubbish.
I was just really trying to find out who makes what. As you know shipping from China to USA to UK is a waste of cash. I've looked for other peeps outside USA that sell MMWS MS660 cylinders (cross performance)but no luck.

Anyhow I look for good but cheapish AM parts and it keeps me busy researching
And loving all the 660 clone builds Cheers:borra2:

Finally got my car back on the road. Took time tonight to clean case halves up and install new bearings. Maybe I’ll have more chances to work on it.

Found the failure due to crank bearing going when I went to put piston on crank. Piston skirt is missing.

Should I get a Mako or Hyway piston or splurge for a Meteor or other piston?

@Mattyo

Farmertec crank
Clutch 11.82mm
Flywheel 9.76mm

HL Supply crank
Clutch 11.71 mm
Flywheel 9.75mm

did you install the hl supply crank in the case? is that the one in the pix above? did you use the tool?

11.71 is a little small for the OD on the clutch side... 11.9 is the spec I think for proper m12x1.0 threads.
